Insurance for Businesses

All businesses need some level of insurance cover. Typically this would include features such as:

  • Employers liability
  • Public liability
  • Legal expenses
  • Business interruption
  • Property Insurance
  • Fire/Theft Insurance
  • Directors and Officers Insurance
The options are extensive, and a typical business might pick and choose from a menu of insurance products to create a package that works for them.

I'll take a deeper look at some of these insurances later on. Choosing a reputable commercial insurance broker is another factor to consider. Premiums are obviously a key decision maker, but businesses should also look for brokers with good service levels and a personal approach. This can often save you money in the long run, with many offering sound advice on how to keep your costs to a minimum.
